The study of Vastu is the study of how universal consciousness becomes conscious. It is the study of the process which the universal unmanifest Source of All Things, (Unified Field, Pure Consciousness, etc.) moves within itself and proceeds from unmanifest to manifest light and sound and then becomes the material world of creation. This is the process where Vastu (unmanifest) becomes Vaastu (manifest). This is Vastu reva Vaastu.
